About Focus Language Training
Jean-Paul Setlak, the Founder and Director of Focus Language Training since around 1981, is a multilingual educator born in Paris, France. Fluent in French, English, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Punjabi, Hindi, and Italian, he holds a Master's degree in French from ASU and a degree in Music from UCLA. With extensive experience, Jean-Paul has developed language and cultural programs in various languages and has traveled globally to teach in diverse settings, including beaches, corporate offices, factories, trains in Asia, and chateaux in France. In over thirty years of teaching, he has distilled crucial principles for successful language learning, which he aims to share. Additionally, he is a portrait painter and a meditation teacher with a deep practice.
